Jana is an Occupational Therapist based in Birmingham, Alabama, and the founder of Iron City OT—a pediatric therapy and wellness clinic specializing in developmental skills through a holistic approach.
Passionate about empowering families, Jana loves supporting infants and children as they navigate developmental stages and work toward achieving milestones. She has completed extensive training with Michelle Emanuel, including Pre- and Post-Frenectomy and Whole Body Therapy Specific to the Pre-Crawling Infant, BabyMyo, and Autonomic Nervous System Regulation for the Pre-Crawling Baby, all of which have significantly influenced her treatment approach.
The Tummy Time Method serves as a cornerstone of Jana’s practice, helping to guide her work with infants and their families. She has also received advanced training in Neuro-Developmental Treatment (NDT), Dynamic Movement Intervention (DMI), Primitive Reflex Integration, Physical Agents of Modalities, and various models of bodywork. These diverse skills make her a well-rounded clinician dedicated to helping children thrive.

She now owns a private practice with her husband, who is a physical therapist, in the Birmingham area.
