I have worked in women’s health care for over 35 years and have been an International Board Certified Lactation Consultant (IBCLC) since 2011 in private practice and a certified TummyTime!™ Method Professional. I offer in home consultations, both prenatal and postpartum and teach prenatal breastfeeding classes. Research shows that mothers who receive help in the early days tend to have an easier time breastfeeding and tend to breastfeed longer. Additionally, I teach group and private childbirth classes based on the Lamaze Healthy Birth Practices. The Healthy Birth Practices represent "evidence-based care," which is the gold standard for maternity care worldwide.
