Amanda is a licensed and certified speech language pathologist who specializes in pediatric feeding difficulties and is also a certified orofacial myologist. Identification of functional impacts for feeding related to tongue and lip tie, pre- and post-revision support, breast and bottle feeding function for growth and development, transition to solids, and orofacial guidance are incorporated into her work with infants and toddlers at the feeding clinic. Her evaluation and treatments incorporate holistic practices looking at airway health and development, soft tissue function, functional movement abilities that support feeding skills, and optimal cranial nerve function. An integrated team approach is utilized to support patients for best outcomes.

I have been a physical Therapist for 34 years. I have been seeing children throughout that time with strictly being a Pediatric Physical Therapist for 29 years. I have had extensive handling continuing education courses. I have been an adjunct instructor in pediatrics at Bellarmine University in the Physical Therapy Program. I have provided instructional education for Kentucky’s Early Intervention Program as well as providing continuing education for DayCare Worker Certification in Jefferson County, Kentucky. I am currently involved as the Physical Therapist in an extensive Feeding Clinic for infants and children. Also the grandmother of two grandchildren who have had tongue tie releases and one more who should have. I am excited to be continuing to learn and add to my knowledge base.
