Carson Williams is a licensed Doctor of Occupational Therapy, Certified Breastfeeding Specialist and postpartum doula. She currently is practicing in the hospital setting at Spotsylvania Regional Medical Center in Fredericksburg, VA. She is the primary neonatal occupational therapist in their Level III neonatal intensive care unit. She also serves mothers within the labor and delivery and postpartum units with their overall physical recovery and return to functioning post pregnancy and delivery. She also provides outpatient occupational therapy services, specific to infants, on overall development and infant feeding. Rachel currently provides lactation services and occupational therapy through her private practice RadMilk, LLC doing virtual and in-home visits in the DC, MD, and Northern VA area.
Before transitioning into private practice, she worked for more than a decade at Children's National Health System, primarily in their level IV NICU in addition to seeing outpatients. As an occupational therapist and lactation consultant, Rachel brings a comprehensive approach to families seeking help with breast, bottle, or other feeding challenges. She has a special focus on treating the pre-crawling infant, and providing therapy for infants pre- and post-release of tethered oral tissues.
