Cara is a pediatric Occupational Therapist with over 12 years experience in pediatrics and who solely specializes in infants. After many years of being a Certified Lactation Counselor, Cara became an International Board Certified Lactation Consultant (IBCLC) in 2021. She is the first and only OT/IBCLC in West Virginia. She is a TummyTime! Method Professional, Certified Infant Massage Instructor, and Tethered Oral Tissue Specialty Trained (TOTs). She has completed hundreds of hours of infant and toddler specific continuing education related to feeding, sensory integration, and overall development. She is also a mother of three who all had some feeding difficulties as infants; this inspired her to create programs in our community to provide support for families.
