The Kassing Method of Bottle-feeding is now used worldwide. Dee has had other articles and information published in various textbooks and journals, as well as local parenting magazines and online websites. New Mother New Baby 2890 Koepke Road Northbrook, Illinois 60062 (773) 720-3051 newmothernewbaby.com Jill Rabin is a pediatric SLP and IBCLC. She has been working with the 0-3 population for 30 years and was hospital based for 14 of those years. At Advocate Illinois Masonic hospital in Chicago, she developed a feeding program to facilitate smooth transition to oral feedings for all babies in the special care nursery, participating in the weekly diagnostic team providing developmental follow-up to premature babies. Currently, she has a private practice in the Chicagoland area where she sees at-risk and special needs breastfeeding patients, children with Down syndrome and with feeding aversion through the early intervention system. She also works at the New Mother New Baby lactation center in Northbrook, where she teaches classes on development and transitioning babies to solid foods using the Baby-led weaning approach. It is her hope to build a collaborative relationship between speech pathologists and lactation consultants in hopes of increasing the possibility of successful breastfeeding, especially with at risk infants. |
