Children are a special population and deserve special care. Little bodies are not just miniature adults—they are still developing, and as such can benefit most from early intervention. Light touch modalities such as CranioSacral Therapy, myofascial release, and Healing Touch can help your child get past acquired and congenital health challenges as well as discouraging new ones. Here at NorthHill, your child is in good hands. While other therapist might agree to treat your child, I have both the specific pediatric training and years of experience treating everything from healthy newborns to the medically fragile children who call Riley Hospital their second home. Some conditions that may be reduced or avoided with therapy include: Colic, Chronic Ear Infections, Autism Spectrum & Sensory Processing Disorders, Cerebral Palsy, Reflux and Digestive DisordersTorticolllis and Plagiocephaly, Learning Disabilities, Emotional Problems, Failure to Thrive, Impaired Immune System, ADD and ADHD.

I believe in the power of human milk and love.
"I’ve taken both her tummy time and infant massage classes and have seen a drastic improvement in the well being of my child. She’s great at explaining why things like tummy time are important and uses so many different techniques to keep it fun and interesting for you and your baby. She always asks permission, never pushes you and let’s you go at your own pace, making sure you feel comfortable and supported. My baby girl used to hate tummy time and now she will play on her tummy for 30+ minutes! I feel like I can always learn something new when I’m with her and I think every mom and baby can benefit from her classes. She instills in me a feeling of security and confidence as a mom."

"Sara is truly a miracle worker! My son, Joseph, was born with torticollis and lip and tongue ties. We started seeing Sara for Craniosacral Therapy and Tummytime Method when Joseph was around 10 months. Joseph was only rolling to one side and not able to crawl. Sara was so very good with him. She is playful, patient, extremely gentle and really listens to him and his body throughout the entire session. She instructed me on how to engage with Joseph in the Tummytime Method and different techniques that I could do myself in the comfort of my own home on a daily basis. This was a huge help in between visits with her. Joseph started crawling AND walking within only a few visits to Sara. And he is thriving all due to her amazing expertise! I couldn't be more grateful and THANKFUL for ALL she has done for us! I highly recommend her to anyone who may need help with their little one!"

My passion is anything to do with Birth and babies and has been for over 30 years. I am always learning something new. I have just retired from working occasionally in a busy Labour and Delivery Department but can still reflect on all the mechanics of birth that can so disrupt the shape and movement of the baby. I have for so many years felt a strong need to learn everything I could on skin to skin and Kangaroo Mother Care and had the privilege of first really learning it while on a trip to South Africa and in the Hospital where Dr Nils Bergman did much of his research. This led to needing to know more about self attachment which now morphed into tummy time and all that entails. The whole circle of my learning journey begins and ends with better outcomes for babies and their mother or parents.
