The Infant Airway:  A Neurobiological Perspective into Airway Function

This class is for the experienced manual therapy/bodyworker/OT/PT who regularly assesses and treats babies with tethered oral tissues and airway difficulties.

Over the 2 days Michelle will cover:

• Dysregulation of breathing (poor rate, work, rhythmicity, etc)
• Poor airway dynamics, squeaky breathing, snoring, poor vocal quality, mouth breathing
• Laryngomalacia
• Open mouth posture (addressing both the jaw and tongue)
• Making more space for breath
• Autonomic Nervous System Regulation
• Clinical applications for all of these topics
